From Passion Project to Purposeful Business
What started as a personal mission to heal my own skin quickly became something more. Making soap began as a passionate activity—an experiment born out of necessity and curiosity. I wanted relief from the harsh detergents and chemicals that made my skin worse after long hours in tactical gear. But as I mixed oils, poured molds, and refined recipes, something unexpected happened: people noticed.
Friends asked what I was using. Family members requested bars. Strangers complimented my skin and asked for recommendations. That’s when it clicked.
This wasn’t just a hobby—it was a solution. A need. Not just for me, but for others too. The more I learned about what goes into commercial "soap" and how many people deal with skin irritation, breakouts, or sensitivity, the more I realized that clean, real skincare wasn't just a luxury—it was missing from a lot of people’s lives.
So, I shifted gears. I started thinking not just like a craftsman, but like a business owner. I researched packaging, labeling laws, skin-safe formulas, and marketing. I created product lines with intention—balancing aesthetics, scent, and skin benefits. And every bar I sold carried the same purpose it had when I first began: to help people feel confident and comfortable in their own skin.
Now, what once lived on my kitchen counter lives in homes across the country. This business isn’t just about soap. It’s about empowerment through knowledge, quality, and care. And it all started with a bar meant to help me feel better in my own skin.
